The Extractor Arm is a tool that enables the user to easily and adaptably position a suction hood to gather fumes or dust near to the source of generation.
The working principle of the Extractor Arm 3D
The Extractor Arm is made up of two PVC flexible hoses that link two aluminium or stainless steel ducts, which are mounted on interconnected support rods with friction-loaded pivots. One end has a suction hood attached to it, while the opposite end is joined to a hollow rotating cylinder. The rotating cylinder, ducts, hose, and suction hood create a passage for the dust or fumes. The entire arm has three points of articulation and is self-balancing, which makes it possible to move the suction hood by hand to any location with a reach of 2 to 4 metres in all directions while exerting the least amount of effort. The majority of our Dustbag® and Fumekiller® models can be equipped with the extractor arm. In order to offer suction points near to the floor level for the capture of fumes or dust from pollution generating locations, the arm can also be fitted to overhead ducting. The dust and fumes are drawn through the suction hood and are then further filtered by the Fumekiller® or DustBag®.The unique features of the Extractor Arm 3D
- This incredibly helpful piece of equipment can be used with both DustBag® and Fumekiller® systems.
- Since every component is designed for continuous, dependable, safe, and efficient usage, maintenance and operating costs are minimal.
